If you are taking classes this summer, you must submit your updated final transcripts electronically or by mail by Sept. 15.

After you've submitted your transcripts, you can check the Documents Tab in My.UCR.EDU to see the status of your documents. If you have any questions about submitting your transcripts, please complete the form at admissions.ucr.edu/ask to contact Undergraduate Admissions.

Test scores are due to Undergraduate Admissions by July 15 if noted in your Provisions of Admission. Incoming students are encouraged to submit official results for the SAT, ACT, AP, IB, TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo, and other exams electronically via the test provider as soon as possible to meet this deadline. If you have questions about test requirements, please complete the form at admissions.ucr.edu/ask to be connected with your admissions counselor.

UCR will not consider SAT or ACT scores for admission or scholarship purposes through fall 2024. If you choose to submit test scores as part of your application, they may be used as an alternative method of fulfilling minimum requirements for eligibility or for course placement after you enroll. Details regarding UC’s testing policy can be found online.

Other important deadlines are coming up for incoming students this summer. All incoming students must attend Highlander Orientation, which is being offered virtually this summer. Email orientation@ucr.edu if you have questions about registering for Highlander Orientation. Students in majors requiring a math course will need to take the Math Advisory Exam (MAE), unless exempted, by July 7. Incoming first-year students must satisfy the Entry-Level Writing Requirement (ELWR) by taking the UC Analytical Writing Placement Examination (AWPE), unless exempted. The AWPE is being offered online in July and August.
